Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1938 by John Engalitcheff, Jr. an award-winning pioneer in cooling system technology who recognised the promising future of the emerging air-conditioning and refrigeration industries.
BAC has become a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of evaporative heat transfer and ice thermal storage products that conserve resources and respect the environment.
Baltimore Aircoil expanded their international operation into Australia, initially setting up their base of operations in Milperra NSW. BAC Australia has since expanded and relocated to its current manufacturing facility and Australian head office in Somersby, on the NSW Central Coast. Along with this growth nationally BAC Australia now have Balticare offices established in the majority of Australia’s cities with accredited representatives operating out of the other states.
